This privacy policy applies to the Vaktinde app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Efe Tunc (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Your settings (selected city, notification preferences) are stored only on your own device using local on-device storage. This information is never transmitted to the Service Provider or to any server the Service Provider controls.
To calculate prayer times, the city you select is sent to a third-party prayer time calculation API (Aladhan) — you choose your city from a fixed list, and your device's GPS coordinates are never used for this.
The Qibla Compass feature uses your device's compass (heading) sensor to show the direction of the Kaaba relative to where your phone is pointing. On iOS, accessing this sensor requires the system's location permission, but the Application only reads the device's heading — it does not request, store, or transmit your GPS coordinates.
The Application displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To provide and personalize these ads, AdMob and its partners may collect information such as your advertising identifier, general device information, and approximate (IP-based) location. On iOS, the Application asks for your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before this data can be used for personalized advertising across other companies' apps; if you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
The Application sends local notifications (for İftar, Sahur/İmsak, Teravih, and Kadir Gecesi reminders) based on your preferences in Settings. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device and do not involve any server.
The Application does not require an account or login, and does not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information directly.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

The Service Provider does not sell or share your personal information with any third party. The Service Provider may disclose information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or when necessary to protect their rights or the safety of others.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it, which also permanently deletes your locally stored settings. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention PolicyYour settings remain on your device for as long as the Application is installed. Uninstalling the Application permanently deletes this data; the Service Provider cannot recover it, as it was never stored on a server.
ChildrenThe Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (efeahmet259@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
SecurityThe Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
ChangesThis Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
